The following were Special Order Custom or Variations of Standard Production Corsa Guitars.
Corsa Guitars, LMV-Proto #1, a custom Flying V made for Larry Meiners, based on a photo in the 2nd edition of his book, “The Gibson Flying V.” The guitar in question was a one-off made in 1971, as seen on page 26 of the book. Larry has only seen a photo of that guitar, which was from an ad by Guitar Trader sometime in the ’80s. This guitar, the LMV, is made from a one piece, double bound honduran body, bound neck and headstock, with brazilian board and holly headstock overlay. The top is filled and finished in gloss “Black Magic.” The sides, back and neck are unfilled, in “NTN” Black Magic. It has a pair of double black uncovered Manalishi pickups, 3 – 500K CTS “True Vintage Taper” pots, all Faber hardware, ’60s neck profile and weighs 7 lbs., 8 oz. (3.40 Kg.).
A beautiful Corsa double cut with a ONE PIECE TOP, Cherry Burst, in Manalishi trim and specs. 3 CTS 500K “True Vintage Taper” short shaft pots, 1 short shaft 500K Push-Pull pot for changing phase, and 1 3-way switch. 6 lbs., 14 oz. (3.12 Kg.).
A nice bookmatched Corsa double cut, Iced Tea Burst, in Manalishi trim and specs. 3 CTS 500K “True Vintage Taper” short shaft pots, 1 short shaft 500K Push-Pull pot for changing phase, and 1 3-way switch. 7 lbs., 14 oz. (3.57 Kg.).
A seriously flamed bookmatched Corsa double cut, in LCPG trim and specs, for ME! 60’s neck, one Push-Pull pot for phase change. 7 lbs., 8 oz. (3.40 Kg.).
A cool “Junior” with a Corsa headstock! 7 lbs., 4 oz. (3.29 Kg.).
